The Euthanasia Referendum: What the experts say!

  • 7.30pm, Tues 22 September

Join us this Tuesday night to hear why the experts are so concerned about the new Euthanasia Act being voted on soon in the upcoming General Election.

We have three special guests, who have extensive experience in Palliative Care, and deep knowledge of the massive implications of the proposed Euthanasia legislation.

Dr. Amanda Landers is a medical specialist who lectures in Palliative Care at Otago University. She is a former Chair of the Australia and NZ Society of Palliative Care.

Dr. Sam Bloore studied at Otago University in medicine and bioethics and then worked as a doctor in emergency care and psychiatry. After a career change, Sam gained a Masters degree in Pastoral Theology and is now studying for a Doctorate of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is currently the Senior Teaching Fellow at Venn Foundation in Auckland.

Raewyn Jenkins is a Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Educator, who has working many years in a hospice.

This is a free event and everyone is welcome.
