At Grace Vineyard church our pastoral care comes mainly from people supporting one another through Lifegroups, where we find belonging, spiritual nurturing, and support, especially during periods of challenge, grief and loss.
Our Christian faith is all about growing a healthy relationship with God, each other and the world around us. We value prayer, worship, regularly reading the Bible and attending regular church services. We seek to encourage one another in faith, truth, healing and wholeness.
To support this, there is a small Pastoral Care team who support and give oversight for the pastoral care work at Grace Vineyard. We operate mostly in a triage basis, where we assess the needs and are ready to refer on when professional advice or specialist input is needed. We have relationships with trusted professional counsellors and mental health professionals. We also have Compassion Trust for budgeting support. And we regularly run a variety of courses like Freedom in Christ, Alpha, Marriage Preparation and regular healing ministry days/evenings with Ellel Ministries.
