I've been at Grace for many years and I'm excited to be part of the team planting West Campus. I'm passionate about making people feel included and finding a place they can build relationships and find community. You'll find me by the BBQ most weeks, so come and have a yarn!

Malo e Lelei! Esther and myself have been together for just over two years now and we are absolutely loving our faith journey with Grace Vineyard family!

Coming from really strong Pasifika upbringing, (myself, Tongan and my gorgeous partner of Samoan decent) we wanted to find a place where we could serve/worship and hear from God together as a couple. We’ve both grown up in church and have been believers since a very young age and we really wanted to cultivate the seeds that have been sown into us and so we decided to plant ourselves in the Grace Vineyard Church back in 2018.

I first became familiar with Grace through working for Strengthening Linwood Youth Trust as a 24/7 youth worker and with that being plugged into GVY serving our rangatahi alongside the incredible youth pastors Simon & Charlotte. Wasn’t long before Esther & I were settled into Church with Esther now serving in the Welcoming team at West Campus and also attending the awesome school of the prophetic. I am also serving in the worship team. We love being apart of Grace and we can’t wait to see God move! Alofa tele atu.

We are the Sutherland’s! These are our two boys Olly (3) and Mack (1.5) I’m a builder and Astrid was a neo-natal nurse until she became a full-time Mum, We have been apart of Grace for 6 years, currently we are planting West Campus with an awesome team, it’s been really exciting to be apart of a community that is passionate to see Jesus move in peoples lives, to be the hope of the world so people can find truth and have purpose!

We are newly weds with jobs in teaching and engineering.

One of our favourite past times are having dinner with friends, so feel free to invite us around whenever 😉

It has been awesome being a part of what God is doing at West Campus. We have found our faith come alive rather than just being church seat warmers.

We look forward to seeing the same for our community.

We have been married 36 years and have two adult sons, Michael (who does data projection for Grace West) and Richard who married Sarah two years ago and have just blessed us with our first grandchild, Archie. They attend and serve at Grace City.

We love entertaining and hosting people at our new home in Aidanfield and are currently finishing off an outdoor barbecue and pizza oven area. We plan to offer ourselves as hosts for all of Grace West’s house lunches, so look forward to meeting as many of the new Grace West community as possible.

We came as a family to Grace Vineyard 15 years ago through an Alpha home group and have been involved in a serving capacity ever since, mainly the info desk at City. You’ll now find us fronting the info desk at the new West campus. We have run several Alpha marriage courses, are qualified Prepare Enrich marriage facilitators, been leaders in both men’s and women’s courses at Grace, hosted home groups and Nigel has run the CAP money courses for Compassion Trust for the past 5 years. e is also a qualified budget advisor that has volunteered at times to assist at Compassion Trust. Anne is currently studying (in her second year) at the Vineyard School of Leadership and Theology, and learning so much about trusting in the power of the Holy Spirit.

We love Grace West and its community focus. We love Sundays and the coming together of the new campus worshipping God, and we so look forward to seeing where the West campus evolution takes us.

Hey, we are Laura & Theo and have been married for 5 Years. We have both been going to Grace for over 15 Years, growing up in the youth group etc. We absolutely love the culture & the people at Grace! We also love Rocky & Alexis, having journeyed with them since we were teenagers & being part of their life group for many years - it totally made sense for us to join them in the church plant! We are also building a house in Halswell so are living in the West community. Theo is a builder and Laura works in events, so we love hands-on mucking in behind the scenes. We are looking forward to seeing where West goes & being part of it for years to come!
