Location: City Campus (150 Ferry Road, Christchurch)

Grace Vineyard Church is one church in six Campus locations across Christchurch, New Zealand: City Campus, Beach Campus, West Campus, Plains Campus, Pegasus Campus & Ashburton Campus. Our range of services and Campus venues enable us to meet the needs of our diverse community. All our services at each Campus include worship and a practical Bible-based talk relevant to everyday life.

We are seeking a highly skilled and relational Production Manager to lead our AV Production department across Grace Vineyard Church. This role is pivotal in ensuring excellence in technical delivery and fostering strong collaboration within our production team and wider church community.

• Team Leadership & Coordination

· Oversee and support production staff across multiple campuses.

· Oversee audiovisual systems and operations for all services, events, and gatherings.

· Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and unity within the production team.

• Technical Oversight

· Maintain and improve audiovisual systems across all campuses.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.

· Ensure consistent quality and reliability of sound, lighting, and visual media.

• City Campus Development

· Provide input into the audiovisual and technical design of our new City Campus building during its design and construction phases (next 18 months).

· Collaborate with architects, consultants, and church leadership to ensure the AV systems meet ministry and community needs.

• Venue Coordination

· Post-construction, coordinate AV support for external groups hiring the new City Campus venue.

· Ensure smooth technical operations and excellent client experience for all external events.

· Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with audiovisual systems (sound, lighting, video, streaming).

· Proven leadership and team coordination skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

· Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.

· A heart for ministry and alignment with the mission and values of our church.

· 3+ years in a technical production or AV coordination role.

· Experience in multi-site church or event production environments.

· Familiarity with AV design and installation processes.

· Experience working with external clients or venue hire operations.

· Adhere to Grace Vineyard Health & Safety regulations.

· Be a fully committed member of our Grace Vineyard team to serve our church and community.

· Responsible for executing all tasks and duties relevant to Grace Vineyard's goals and objectives, including but not limited to administrative tasks, assistance with church-related programs and events, and any other duties as assigned by the church leadership.
